Job Description:
As a Scrum Master at Signzy, you will play a critical role in driving our projects to
success by promoting Agile principles and facilitating effective teamwork within our
project and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in
Agile project management and a strong ability to coordinate and communicate
effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Scrum Facilitation: Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams,
facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to
ensure the team's adherence to Agile methodologies.
2. Team Coordination: Foster a collaborative environment within the project and delivery
teams, ensuring that team members work together efficiently and effectively towards
common goals.
3. Project Management: Assist in project management activities by helping the team
define goals, scope, and deliverables, and ensuring these are well-understood and
achievable.
4. Remove Roadblocks: Identify and address any impediments or roadblocks that may
hinder the team's progress, working closely with team members and management to
find solutions.
5. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the
team, encouraging the adoption of Agile best practices and the use of metrics to assess
and improve team performance.
6. Communication: Act as a bridge between the project and delivery teams and
stakeholders, ensuring clear and open lines of communication to facilitate project
progress and stakeholder satisfaction.
7. Metrics and Reporting: Maintain and analyze project metrics and performance data,
providing regular reports to stakeholders to track progress and make data-driven
decisions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
2. 4-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile project management
role.
3. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and their
application in software development and project management.
4. Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively
with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
5. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is a plus.
6. Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
7. Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within scope.
8. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous
improvement.
